Privacy Policy for Pawdoll

1. Information Pawdoll May Process

VPN and proxy traffic

When you enable VPN mode, Pawdoll uses Android's VPN service to route network traffic according to the profile, rules, and per-app settings you choose. The app processes this traffic locally on your device in order to provide VPN, proxy, routing, DNS, and connection features.

Your traffic may be sent to the proxy or VPN servers configured in your selected profile. If you import a third-party profile or subscription, those servers and their operators are not controlled by Pawdoll. Please use configurations from sources you trust.

Profiles, rules, and local settings

Pawdoll stores app settings on your device, including selected profiles, imported configurations, selected language, routing mode, rule-set country, per-app proxy selections, subscription status, trial status, and connection preferences.

Installed app information

If you use per-app proxy features, Pawdoll may read the list of installed apps and related package information so you can choose which apps use or bypass the VPN connection. This information is used for the routing feature and is processed locally in the app.

Location Data

Pawdoll may request access to Location Data through Android permissions such as approximate location, precise location, and background location. Pawdoll requests these permissions only when your selected VPN/proxy profile contains Wi-Fi based routing rules, including wifi_ssid or wifi_bssid rules. Android requires location permission for apps to read information about the currently connected Wi-Fi network, even when the app is not using GPS navigation features.

When this feature is used, Pawdoll or its network engine may access the name of the connected Wi-Fi network (SSID), the Wi-Fi access point identifier (BSSID), and related Wi-Fi connection state. This Location Data is used to decide which routing rule should apply, for example whether a specific network should use or bypass the VPN. On Android 10 and later, background location permission may be required so Wi-Fi based routing can continue to work while the VPN service is running in the background.

Pawdoll does not use Location Data to track your physical movements, build a location history, provide advertising profiles, or sell location information. Pawdoll does not intentionally collect GPS coordinates for its own servers. Wi-Fi based Location Data is processed for routing purposes and is generally kept on your device as part of local VPN operation and logs/settings, unless you choose to share logs or support information with us.

Google Mobile Ads and related Google services may independently process approximate location, IP address, and ad-related signals for advertising, consent, fraud prevention, measurement, and service operation according to Google's policies and your consent choices.

Network diagnostics and usage statistics

Features such as connection status, traffic counters, DNS speed tests, rule-set checks, server reachability checks, and logs may process technical information such as connection state, speed, transferred bytes, server response status, and error messages. These features are used to show diagnostics and help the app work correctly.

Subscriptions and purchases

Pawdoll uses Google Play Billing to provide Premium subscriptions and restore purchases. Payment information, such as credit card details, is handled by Google Play and is not received by Pawdoll. The app may store subscription status locally so Premium features can be enabled or disabled.

Advertising and consent

Pawdoll may show ads through Google Mobile Ads. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, diagnostics, ad impressions, clicks, and consent choices according to their own policies. Where required, Pawdoll uses Google User Messaging Platform to request and manage ad consent.

Analytics and crash reports

Pawdoll may use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app reliability and improve the product. These services may process device information, app version, operating system version, event names, crash traces, performance diagnostics, and related technical data. We use this information to find bugs, improve stability, and understand feature usage at an aggregate level.

Security and integrity checks

Pawdoll may perform local device integrity, root, emulator, hook, and app signature checks to protect Premium features, prevent abuse, and keep the app secure. These checks are used to determine whether the app should continue running on the device.

If you contact us, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.

2. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

• We do not require you to create a Pawdoll account.
• We do not intentionally collect or sell the contents of your browsing traffic.
• We do not intentionally collect GPS coordinates or build a history of your physical location for our own servers.
• We do not receive your payment card details when you purchase through Google Play.
• We do not intentionally collect your private messages, photos, contacts, or files.

3. How Information Is Used

• To provide VPN, proxy, routing, profile management, DNS, and per-app proxy features.
• To apply Wi-Fi based routing rules when your selected profile uses SSID or BSSID conditions.
• To remember your app preferences and selected configuration.
• To verify and restore Premium subscription access.
• To show ads to non-Premium users and manage ad consent where required.
• To diagnose connection problems, crashes, and performance issues.
• To protect the app from abuse, tampering, and unauthorized access to Premium features.
• To respond to support requests and comply with legal or platform requirements.

4. Third-Party Services

Pawdoll may use the following third-party services. These services process data according to their own privacy policies and terms:

• Google Play Billing for subscriptions and purchase management.
• Google Mobile Ads for advertising.
• Google User Messaging Platform for consent management.
• Firebase Analytics for aggregated app analytics.
• Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and reliability diagnostics.
• Remote configuration or subscription sources when you download or import proxy profiles, rule sets, or server configurations.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, including Location Data. Wi-Fi based Location Data used by Pawdoll for routing is intended to be processed locally on your device. Information may be processed by third-party service providers listed above to provide subscriptions, ads, analytics, crash reporting, consent management, and platform services. Google advertising services may process approximate location or IP-based location according to Google's policies and your consent choices. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and security, or to comply with valid legal requests.

6. Data Retention

• Local app settings and imported profiles remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
• Wi-Fi based Location Data used for routing is processed during VPN operation and is not intentionally retained on our servers. Related local logs or settings remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
• Subscription status may remain locally cached so the app can recognize Premium access.
• Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain business records.
• Third-party services retain information according to their own retention policies.

7. Your Choices

• You can change Pawdoll settings in the app.
• You can delete imported profiles and local configurations in the app.
• You can manage or cancel Premium subscriptions through Google Play.
• You can manage ad personalization and advertising identifiers in your device or Google account settings.
• You can deny or revoke location permission in Android system settings. If you do, profiles that rely on Wi-Fi SSID or BSSID routing rules may not work correctly.
• You can use your device settings to clear app data or uninstall Pawdoll.
• Where consent controls are available, you can update your consent choices through the app or system-provided privacy options.

8. Permissions

Pawdoll requests permissions only when needed for app functionality. Depending on your device and app version, permissions may include VPN service permission, notification permission, camera permission for QR code import, installed app query access for per-app proxy, network access, Wi-Fi state access, approximate location, precise location, and background location.

Location permissions are used to access Location Data related to the currently connected Wi-Fi network when a profile includes Wi-Fi based routing rules. Android treats Wi-Fi SSID and BSSID access as Location Data because nearby networks can sometimes reveal location. Pawdoll uses this access for routing decisions only. Pawdoll does not use these permissions to continuously track your physical location.

9. Children

Pawdoll is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

10. International Use

Pawdoll may be used in different countries and regions. Third-party services and remote configuration sources may process information on servers located in countries other than your country of residence. By using the app, you understand that information may be processed where these services operate.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of Pawdoll after an update means you accept the revised policy.
